Holly Block

Hi! I’m Holly, a born-and-raised New Yorker who has been performing since before I could walk. My journey took a pivotal turn at age seven when I was diagnosed with dyslexia; I struggled deeply with reading until I found theater, which quite literally saved me and gave me a place to shine. That passion led me to a one night Broadway gig at age 12 in Ken Davenport’s production of Godspell 2032, and I haven't looked back since! After honing my craft at the Circle In The Square Theater Conservatory, I’ve had the joy of performing in iconic NYC productions like Cabaret and Pippin. Beyond the stage, I am an award-winning writer for Safe and Sound The Musical and have loved every second of directing and choreographing regional theater. When I’m not working, you can find me obsessing over Disney, animals, and anything involving pink and glitter. I’m a total die-hard Swiftie with a spicy personality and a deep soul that considers Chekhov my favorite playwright. I strive to bring kindness, professional grit, and a little bit of bubbly magic to every project I touch!
